Have you ever noticed how out of control a day can become? You can get up in a good mood with plans for a great day when all of a sudden the day throws all kinds of confusion, disorder, craziness, turbulence, and lunacy at you.
One of the biggest enemies in your life is an unmanaged day. Because if you have enough unmanaged days you will live an unmanaged life. One of the first things that God gives you authority over is a day. If you can’t manage a day you are not likely to be considered an authority in the spirit realm. Each day will act as an unruly child, doing whatever it wants, because it doesn’t recognize you as an authority.
3 Ways to Get Authority Over Your Day:
- Get a Faster Start Than the Day Does.
- Get up before the day does.
- Start thinking about the day before it even has you on its radar.
- Name Your Day.
- What you name you become the authority over.
- The name you give to the day tells it how it’s supposed to act.
- For example…You could name your day “A Day of Divine Cooperation”—that everything in your day will cooperate with your divine destiny and purpose.
- Finish the Day Before You Start It.
- See the end of the day from the beginning.
- In the beginning of the day see yourself at the end of the day, exhilarated by what happened that day.
- List 3 things that you will accomplish by the end of the day. Keep the list in front of you and work on those things first.

Awsome revelation my brother! I especially like your comment about naming your day. In fact, one of the principals outlined in Genesis for us as junior creators (I call us this since we are made in Gods image) is to speak to tasks that will make up our days….do this consistently and you will create your world (life).
(Genesis 1:3-5 NLT) “Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day.”
God said, then He saw….He said, then He saw….He said, then He saw.
Lastly, we form our worlds not only with our words, but we literally shape our days with His Words, the Word of God. In fact, this is a key method for dealing with “unexpected explosions” that happen throughout our day…speak to it not only with our words, but according to His Word.
I’ve heard it said that the secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.
Great stuff Dwayne! I love your term “Junior Creators.” Speaking to the day using God’s word causes the day to hear the language of it’s parent (causing it to start obeying). It doesn’t know if it’s you or if it’s God speaking. …Great people do daily what average people do occasionally.
Seeing yourself at the end of the day is truly having a vision. Once you master envisioning your day, you can do the same for your week, month, year, etc.
Absolutely! If you can do this for one day you can change your entire life, because all you have to do is repeat the pattern one day at a time. Like you said, before you know it you will have put together an amazing week, month, year…and life!!
